A large anchor figure, 200 cm high and 160 cm wide, wrapped in a thick rope and made of durable fiberglass laminate in a patinated brass color. A nautical decoration for marinas, harbors, restaurants, hotels and parks.
Measuring 160 x 45 x 200 cm (width x depth x height), the figure shows a classic admiralty anchor with a round ring, a stock ending in balls and wide-spread arms. A thick twisted rope winds around the shank, and its coils lie at the base, steadily supporting the whole structure. The surface has an olive-brown patina imitating aged metal, while the rope is finished in warm hemp tones. The whole piece is hand-sculpted and hand-painted.
The fiberglass laminate withstands UV exposure, rain, frost, temperature swings and humid coastal air, so the figure can stand outdoors all year round and stays far lighter than a metal anchor of this size. It works well as:
