Life-size wild boar, 160 cm long, made of durable glass-reinforced polyester laminate. An all-year decorative sculpture for forest nature trails, forestry centres, zoos, parks and gardens.
The figure is 160 cm long, 90 cm tall and 55 cm wide — the dimensions of an adult boar. Hand-sculpted and hand-painted: the bristles are worked into dense, irregular strands, the dark brown of the back lightens into a russet sheen along the flanks, and two pale tusks show below the snout. The silhouette of the species is kept intact — the heavy neck and the shoulders sloping down towards the rump, the short legs ending in dark hooves — so the sculpture reads as a wild boar rather than as a generic pig shape.
A UV-, frost- and rain-resistant coating allows year-round display in open terrain, including the shaded and damp spots where wooden carvings soon start to move and split:
The wild boar is one of the animals talked about most on a nature trail and one of the hardest to show alive — a 1:1 figure lets you place the subject of an information board right next to it and gives visitors a ready-made photo stop. It stands on all four hooves with no plinth; the anchoring method for woodland ground is agreed when you order.
