African Ostrich Figure in Fiberglass, Tall Long-Necked Bird for Zoos, Safari Parks and Farms 180 cm

Design and Craftsmanship

Measuring 130 x 80 x 180 cm (length x width x height), the figure shows an ostrich standing on two long orange legs with strong, two-toed feet. A slender cream-colored neck ends in a small head with a large black eye and an orange beak. The massive body is covered in dark brown plumage with a pale belly, and a fan of long tail feathers rises at the back. The feather texture is sculpted in relief and the whole piece is hand-painted.

Weather Resistance and Uses

The fiberglass laminate withstands UV exposure, rain, frost and temperature swings, so the figure can stand outdoors all year round and stays relatively light for its height. It works well as:

• a decoration for zoological gardens and safari parks
• an ornament for ostrich farms, agritourism farms and ranches
• an eye-catching feature at the entrance of amusement parks, hotels and restaurants
• an attraction in shopping centers, exhibitions and film sets

The figure is placed on a paved surface or on a foundation and is transported on a pallet.
