Measuring 360 x 225 x 140 cm (length x width x height), the figure depicts a bee with a characteristic, densely furred, golden-beige thorax, a glossy black head with a large eye and wide-set black legs with yellow, hairy bands and claws. Translucent wings with amber veining and an orange abdomen complete the realistic portrait. Hand-sculpted and hand-painted, with a texture imitating fur.
