Giant Green Grasshopper Figure for Insect Gardens 490 cm

Design and Craftsmanship

Measuring 490 x 225 x 150 cm (length x height x width), the figure depicts a grasshopper in a natural pose with a lowered head, a large black eye, yellow segmented antennae and high-raised, spiny hind legs. Green skin with smooth color gradients, delicate wing veining and finely modeled abdominal segments give the figure a realistic look. Hand-sculpted and hand-painted.

Weather Resistance and Uses

The fiberglass laminate withstands UV exposure, rain and temperature swings, so the figure can stay outdoors all season. It works well as:

• an attraction in insect parks, zoos and amusement parks
• an exhibit on educational trails and in botanical gardens
• a teaching feature in natural history museums and science centers
• a photo spot for families and school groups

The sturdy build allows placement on gravel, grass or paving without extra anchoring.
